POSEIDON Enables New Self-Assembled Structures

A revolutionary change in bringing light sources on chip in a cost-effective way. Project team in POSEIDON is developing a radically new bottom-up approach towards multi-scale, on chip self-assembly of active colloids based on low cost colloid technology and recently published scientific publication entitled “Defined core–shell particles as the key to complex interfacial self-assembly”. In this study, is reported that limitation in structural versatility can be overcome using soft core–shell particles self-assembling at a liquid interface.
